Nothing will make a party more memorable than live music, and there's no one better for the job than The Roustabouts.   We have the expertise that comes with more than eighteen years' experience, and the panache that comes from handling over 1750 diverse and successful parties, to make yours sparkle with class and individuality.   We are a seven-piece band,  including five males and two females,  featuring  four  vocalists, a horn  section, guitar and bass guitar, keyboard, and percussion.

The Roustabouts are a one-band operation, which ensures the same members at each affair.  This also means that we unfortunately cannot

accept every client's date request.  If  you have a  special date in mind be sure to get a head start by speaking with the band ASAP.

The Roustabouts use state of the art equipment in order to provide you and your guests with sound of a superior quality throughout our dynamic range of music.  Our style is professional but fun, and the high-quality

music we produce will keep all of your friends and family members happy, whether their interest lie with dancing or simply enjoying the music and atmosphere at a reasonable volume.

Many dignitaries and celebrities have chosen Roustabout Music for their affairs.  Some of our favorite events have been for Robert DeNiro, Chazz Palminteri, cast members of the "Sopranos", General Norman Schwarzkopf, and Governor Hugh Carey.  Rudy Giuliani hired our band seven times since his election as Mayor of New York..   We played for  President Reagan's daughter's wedding, which occurred during his second term of office.  You can find pictures of some of these affairs right here at our website.

While most of our affairs are in the NY/NJ/CT area, special events sometimes take us across the country.  We recently were involved with two gala corporate affairs at the Inter-Continental Hotel in Miami, Florida.

We have performed at every catering hall in the tri-state area, including the prestigious and elegant United Nations Grand Ballroom.  Several events each year put us in the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf Astoria, the

Rainbow Room and Tavern on the Green.  We were a constant site at the Windows on the World atop the World Trade Center.  Our hearts go out for all our friends and their families who lost so much on Sept. 11, 2001.

Each summer the Roustabouts perform at the Bradley Beach Boardwalk in New Jersey.   The shows at Bradley are always a great success,

entertaining large crowds of people dancing and singing along.  Come down to the Beach this year to experience great music and a great time for free.  Our music on these nights runs the gamut from 1940-2000's.

(We will also be happy to take your requests.)  Keep posted for new dates.

Our last New Years Eve  gig took us the Miami Beach, Florida.  We played  on the private and very exclusive Williams Island  (home to

Sylvester Stallone & Gloria Estafan).  The party was held at the Island Club.  As the marina had yachts in port from all  seven seas, we were able to make many new friends from all over the world.  As we had to please all guests, our music this night was of an international flavor leaning heavily towards Latin Salsa.  The food and drink were the finest and décor of the room was unbelievable.

Thanks for visiting the Roustabout Music website.  For best viewing of our music and video on this site we recommend  MS Internet Explorer 6.0 & MS Media Player.  Both of these programs can be downloaded free from www.microsoft.com (see link below, bottom left).  For best quality pictures use True Color 32 Bit with 800x600 dpi.  There should be music playing in the background by now.  This is an edited dance mix of some of our

material.  Depending on the speed of your connection to the Internet it could take as long as five minutes to load.  There is a different song mix on each page.   Also on the left is  links to our live showcase which can now be viewed on-line.  It runs best with MS Media Player. A free upgrade to MS Media Player Vers. 9 is available from our website. We hope you enjoy what we have to offer.  We will do all in our power to make your affair the most exciting day of your life.
